My focus is on building camaraderie and cohesion across the diversity of players in our program. How do we stay true to the values and vision of our program, honoring the traditions of the past, whilst also infusing innovative ideas that engage today’s players to maximize performance. Leveraging the 3D printing skills I learned from my co-op, I manufactured a Varsity Blues chain for a player to wear on the sideline after they’ve made a big play. The tradition is for an injured teammate to bestow the chain to the awarded player to promote inclusivity and celebrate success collectively as a team.
